My USA license is K2GSJ, however when I am at my second QTH in St. Martin, I now operate as PJ7TM. Please check K2GSJ for my background information.
Equipment here in St. Martin is an ICOM 706 MK IIG and a Hygain Patriot 640 vertical on the roof of the house.
I participated with the Buddipole Caribbean Dxpedition to Montserrat from April 8th thru the 16th, 2012. My call during the dxpedition was VP2MTM.
Best QSL route for PJ7TM and contacts made with VP2MTM is via: Tom Metz, 10 Montauk Avenue Extension, Sag Harbor, NY 11963. I QSL 100% on all received cards. Please provide a SASE or 2 green stamps and SAE. Please do not send IRCs.Those hams that send an extra "green stamp", I use this to fund QSLs that come to me thru the bureau. Some of these QSLs take as long as 10 years to get to me. I don't think they should wait that long to get my QSL back to those hams. Thank you.
OPERATING
I refused to work a number of stations that consistently and deliberately break into an existing QSO, or when they call out of their turn, when I have called out a specific geographical area or when I call a station with only partial call letters. I very much understand when people make mistakes, because we all do. But when a station continues with the malpractice of constantly calling, even after being asked to stop, then there is no excuse for such behavior. I just note the call and no matter how many times I am called by the station, I will not respond to it. You stand a far better chance of making it into the log by respecting the DX code of conduct! When fellow hams continue this bad practice after being asked nicely and repeatedly to stop, I then just go QRT as it stops being fun anymore.
Please follow the DX code of conduct.
Thank you!
Tom Metz
