It seems that conditions in Japan have entered a "summer slump," making it difficult to enjoy DXing as much as I’d like.
While conditions were excellent every day from April through early August, the past week has been tough, with only brief windows of opportunity.

However, if you keep monitoring the bands whenever time permits, you can stumble upon unexpected DX stations—KP2B (US Virgin Islands).
We were particularly pleased to make Her(IZY) first-ever contacts with them on the 15m and 40m bands.
