Hello, everyone.

While our primary motivation for operating isn't simply to chase awards, we felt it was important to set a milestone goal for ourselves.

We decided to aim for contacts with a country across the Pacific—a place that feels close to us here in Japan despite the vast ocean separating us.

Due to license restrictions, IZY (Rika) was unable to operate on the 20m+30m bands and was limited to an output of 50W; we anticipated a very difficult challenge, but thanks to everyone's cooperation, we successfully achieved our goal on August 8th.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the stations in the USA that made contact with us.
