Henk Tobbe moved from the Netherlands to Australia in July 1999. His - still valid - dutch callsign is PA0ADC. He got his first license in 1961.
Pretty active on the higher DX bands (40M and up) both in phone and CW. Regularly checking 12M and 10M for openings - especially now the sun is getting more active again.
For QSL information (I do LotW, eQSL and paper only Direct) and station details, on line logbook and a lot more, - like generating your own QSL card for download -please visit my web site. There you can also check if I am on the bands somewhere.
I strongly believe that paper QSL cards are something we should forget about in this digital day and age, so PLEASE do NOT send me any QSL cards via the bureau as I will NOT respond to them. I upload daily to Logbook of the World and to eQSL. If you want a card for the wall you can make one yourself, download and print it from my on line logbook:
To generate your individual QSL card on line: Click here!
Please allow for up to 30 minutes after the QSO for the data to be available in the on line logbook,
especially when I am working a pile up.
especially when I am working a pile up.
Example:
And if you really need a genuine paper card for an award: please QSL direct with a proper size self addressed envelope (not one of those tiny USA models) and one valid (properly stamped by the issuing post office) IRC or a minimum of $ 2 US for postage (and with the current exchange rate it really should be $ 3 US). Cards without SASE will be ignored.
My other hobby is photography: have a look at my photo's on Flickr.Amongst other things I got a very nice collection of "boat anchor" (= classic radio gear) photo's there. When you are interested in where we live, what my antenna looks like etc. browse my photos, please.
Recently ( June 2013) we added a special photo presentation website. Have alook and leave your comment in the "Contact Me" panel.
