I am Flavio Bergamasco and I was born in 1966 in Cerro Tanaro ( Asti ) – Italy.
I live in Genoa with my wife Elisabetta and my two sons ( Matteo and Andrea ).
I am a professional musician and I play the trumpet in the Teatro Carlo Felice Orchestra ( Genoa Opera House ).

I mostly enjoy DXing and Contest on CW ( Contest Call IR1Y ), in particular on the low bands ( 40-80-160 mtrs ) transmitting from my 2nd QTH ( alt: 805 mtrs ) in the Ligurian Mountains ( Alta Val Borbera ), far away from the city QRM.
