20261011 IZY choiced at M0OXO`s OQRS (P29YY`s QSL)

20261011 IZY choiced M0OXO`s OQRS  (P29YY`s QSL)

Hi everyone, Mako (IZX) here.
Autumn has well and settled into the Northern Hemisphere, and DXing is looking vastly different compared to just 10 days ago.

IZY successfully worked the legendary big name in the ham radio world, "M0OXO"! (And here is the eSWL card that just arrived from that contact!)

IZY said 記念すべきQSOのSWL 本当にありがとうございます。

This time, I’m doing an OQRS using IZY's data to get a commemorative QSL card for P29YY, which we featured recently.
First, access M0OXO’s main homepage. You’ll find an OQRS request tab there, so select it.
(He handles a ton of DXpeditions, so scrolling for P29YY is a hassle! Instead, I’ll search his database directly for any DXpedition that hits a match for JJ5IZY.)

Here is what the search results look like.
(The search took about 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Well, considering the massive amount of data he handles, that’s totally understandable!)

And there it is—P29YY popped up, so let’s go ahead and select it right away.

Now, just click on "Request QSL (OQRS)" in the blue area at the bottom.

Then, you’ll see a page like this. Now it's time to verify the QSO data with the station.
Since IZY has worked P29YY 5 times, let’s export those log details as an ADIF file (she uses QRZ.com for this) and upload it!

Alright, once you confirm the QSO data is all correct, we’ll move on to verifying the requester's info (the person requesting the QSL).
I’ve blurred out some parts since it’s personal data! lol

We're almost at the finish line!
For OQRS payments, we always use PayPal (same for Club Log). I'll skip the exact step-by-step details for this part, but keep in mind that fees can vary depending on the DXpedition, so just take it case-by-case and approve it.
Heads up: Even though PayPal seems bulletproof, there are times when transfers fail due to regional or country-to-country restrictions. If that happens, you’ll need to consider alternative methods.
Anyway, the OQRS via M0OXO went smoothly without a single hitch!

Let`s enjoy DXing !!
