HS0ZCW is off LoTW now, awaiting the system's revisions.
QSLing:  INCLUDE SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE WITH YOUR $$ AND YOUR CARD for fast service back to you. NO IRCs, NO NO NO, IRCs.    My mail theft has stopped and everything seems to be arriving ok now.  No need to do elaborate hiding of green stamps, TNX.
Charly thought up getting E2E for the Thailand national club. Read the story at E2E page.
VU4AN/VU3CHE QSL cards reach Charly via HS0ZCW.
Use HS0ZCW also to QSL K4VUD, 9N7UD, A52UD, V26V, XW1UD, and his portable operations /SV9 and /KP2 as well as AC4TT and KG4FPK.
November 23, 2009: Thailand has opened up for HS and E2 operations the band of 7.100 to 7.200. The Thailand 40 meter band is now 7.000 to 7.200 for all modes, although HS ops try to follow the ARRL band plan.  July 20, 2014 more bands opened.       Thailand now permits operations on all of the WARC bands for all modes.
Charly and his wife have moved semi-permanently (2006 and beyond) to Thailand from their former home in Florida. He has one station in Samut Sakhon, the family home, and a second station in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, OK03cs.  13.46N  X -110.11E.
The picture herein is from a Buddhist monastery near my home which marks one of the first places in Thailand that Buddhism took root. The picture is my QSL card face and shows me (in the tan jacket) with a tall Buddhist figure who could be visiting those who do not QSL !
My other QSL card pictures 6 Thai ladies in traditional Thai costumes dancing with a compilation of traditional Thai structures in the background and a dawn silhouette of my antennas on another design card.
Wife Somjit fills out many QSL cards and loves surprises in the incoming mail.... like 2 green stamps... she kissedkiss a "fiver" during the last mail opening!!! And she loves picture qsls. She gets the green; I pay for the postage.
An avid contester, Charly's HS0ZCW station has the CQ WW WPX records for 2009/2010 of #1/#1 in Thailand, #2/#3 in Asia, and #12/#17 IN THE WORLD. #12 in the world is a big deal considering competition with JA and USA, of being in Asia, and never having beams turned to Thailand !
HS0ZCW was assigned to Charly Harpole during his first visit to Thailand in 1998. Charly has used his call sign--since then and in 1999 and 2001-4 --while he was in Thailand making a documentary film about Buddhism. He then married the beautiful Thai lady named Somjit.blush
He now has a fully licensed and registered Thai ham station at the family home in Samut Sakhon. There, he has an IC-718. This is his "second home" station in Thailand, shown in first picture below. His "first" home station, shown in lower photograph,is about 30 km West of downtown Bangkok where he has an IC-775DSP & 80 foot tower with 5 el. HyGain on 20 m., on 15m and 4el on 10m/5el on 6m interlaced on top.  His second tower is 70 feet with a 2 el full sized quad on 40m and 30m and 3 el. on 17 and 12 (designed by the old Cubex). Only a dipole on 80m and a bazooka sloper on 160m.
Check the Radio Amateur Society of Thailand (RAST) web site for complete foreigner licensing data and radio importation.(www.qsl.net/rast for English).
QSLs sent to HS buro get to Charly very well, but please do not use the the K4 buro which will also forward to HS0ZCW if marked "via K4VUD" but it is now a lot of trouble. For more information, search Charly's USA callsign, K4VUD, on qrz.com or club call, AC4TT.
Charly is a life-long college teacher and is retired from teaching film and tv making at Mahidol University in Thailand. Hecompleted a documentary about the Tibetan refugees who have fled their homeland to obtain religious freedom now not allowed in China, titled "Tibetans Seek Buddhist Freedom" on YouTube.
Charly's very interesting short essays are on www.charlesharpole.com...... Click "More" for a full title list.
