The HF activity of the club began on September 2013.
The station is equiped with:
-Sommerkamp FT-77, 100W, all HF ham bands
-Softrock kit SDR for 20m Rx
-Multiband dipole antenna 80-10m
-Multiband portable HF antenna Falcon MP-1

About VHF activity in 3V8ESG club, we use:
-Portable Baofeng transceivers (UV-3R, UV5R)
-RTL DVB-T SDR
-APRS emitters (Micro-Trak)
-Home made yagi antenna for 2m operations

We have practiced essentiallypacket radio over AX.25 protocol, APRS , working Rx for AMSAT satellites, designing HF and VHF antennas, Near Space Ballooning, we use many ham softwares under Windows and linux operating systems for our projects.
We are also working on developping Android applications like the app "APRS3V8ESG".
