First licensed at age 16 in 1960 as KN4ZRX, I've held the calls K4ZRX (1961 to1976), DL4ND (1968 to 1971), N4ND (1976 to 1996) and the current call since November 1996. I'm mainly active on CW on the HF bands and there's nothing I love more than a good modest speed (30-35 WPM) rag chew. I also enjoy CW contesting and get in about every one I hear. With my setup I'm not competitive but I like to try to beat or at least equal my previous year's score. I do own a microphone for my Ten Tec rigs and have actually been know to use it a time or two. I'm a member of ARRL, CVCC, PVRC, and FOC. Current rig is a Ten Tec OMNI VII, Ameritron ALS-600 amplifier and a 53 meter center fed flat top up 17meters. I need to post a current picture!

P.S. QSLing: I put all my logs each month on LOTW and e-QSL. If an electronic confirmation is good enough for you please do the same. Direct QSL's for WAS or the US county award require no SASE or green stamp for return postage. I reply100% to such cards and pay my own postage. Please do not send me cards via the ARRL QSL Bureau. Any response from me to such cards may take years. Too many cards - too little time!
