I used the MFJ bracket from my previous MFJ Window Mount and a long wooden pole to extend the dipole wire as far away from the side of the building as possible (within reason). It hang vertically down. I noted a couple of things, first is that if the dipole hangs next to the building the SWR's are very high presumably coupling with the reinforcing in the building. Second, as the wire moves in the breeze the SWR seems to change. Again I suspect proximity to the reinforcing. Update Mar 2013 Just got a TS590S so the TS2000 will become backup.
I do not generally sent paper QSL but do upload to eQSL and LoTW. If you REALLY need/want paper, please drop me an email and I will do my best. No bureau please.  I know Singapore is considered a rare DX and I am happy to acknowledge a VALID QSO.  However, many submit partial contacts and try to confirm signal reports via email.  This is not acceptable to me and I will respond to those requests with "Not in my log".  I always double check the automatic dump from JT65 in case I missed a log but if it's not there, it was not received by me and therefore is not in my log.  I am happy to communicate with you by email and establish a time and possible alternate frequency to complete a QSO.
Also, multiple QSO's are OK with me. I respond to all that call.
73, Dan 9V1DB (previously K6DMB)
