1923 and 1924 marked the zenith of long distance communication records. Starting with the first ever contact between ZL & VK in 1923 it went on in 1924 with first ever QSO's & new distance records for connections between ZL-LU, ZL-W6 and only days later ZL-W1. The culmination was on the 18th of October 1924 when between 0615 to 0730 UTC on 90 meters (in those days) the first Trans-World contact took place between Frank Bell (a sheep farmer) Z4AA (ZL4AA) in Shag Valley, NZ and Cecil Goyder (an 18 years old student) at Mill Hill School in London using the callsign G2SZ.

Né en 1956 dans le département 42.

A 18 ans, étant électronicien de métier, je décide de rentrer à l’armée.

Je rejoins le 45 éme Régiment d’instruction des Transmissions à Montélimar en septembre 1974. Ayant une formation

d’exploitant télégraphiste, je suis affecté au 57 éme Régiment de Commandement des Transmissions à Mulhouse en 1975.

En 1976, je passe de l’exploitation à l’atelier des Transmissions comme dépanneur radio.

(A cette époque ANGRC9 – PP11 – PP13 etc…)

En 1978, Je change d’arme pour aller en Gendarmerie où quelques mutations me sont infligées.

- 1980 Atelier radio Groupement de Gendarmerie de la Côte d’Or à DIJON.

- 1985 Atelier radio Groupement de Gendarerie du Bas Rhin à Strasbourg.

- 1990 Atelier radio régional de Gendarmerie Bourgogne à DIJON.

- 2010 Retraite.

Pendant cette carrière de technicien quelques stages sont effectués à l’ESEAT (Cesson-Sévigné)

(école supérieur d’électronique de l’armée de Terre) 1^er degré en 1982 et 2 ème degré en 1987.
