Hello; This is (WP4U). I will like to inform by this way how I confirm my qso. I ONLY CONFIRM WHAT I RECEIVE!! You can send your qsl direct or via BURO. It take a little time via BURO, but you will received, if your BURO in your country work good. I use ARRL buro. I am a life member of ARRL and the buro do a great job. If you send it direct please send a SASE(envelope with your address) and one NEW IRC ONLY-2010(very important) or $2 green stamps. I prefare news IRC please!! I like direct qsl because my wife collect stamps and she(WP4COA) is a GREAT HELPER. I DON'T HAVE A MANAGER AT THIS MOMENT!! About me, I am 59 years old. I use to work for the Puerto Rico Electric Company as a Commo.Eng but now I am RETIRED!!!! Also I worked for the US Army(82 AB Div). This is the QRZ page for the South African Radio League Special Event Station commemorating the life and recent passing of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, elder statesman and first democratically-elected president of the Republic of South Africa. Affectionately referred to as “Madiba”, he became one of the most recognized leaders in the world and was instrumental in the peaceful transition of South Africa from minority rule to a constitutional democracy. South Africans join the people of the world in mourning his passing and celebrating his legacy.
ZS9MADIBA will be operational until the 11^th of January 2014, at times and on frequencies to be determined. We will be operating on HF bands from 160m to 10m, on SSB, CW and digital modes. When you do find us, please be sure to spot us on the DX cluster.
QSLs will be confirmed via the ARRL Logbook of the World (LoTW), and a special event paper QSL. To receive the special QSL card by mail, please send an SAE and include $1 for postage; alternatively, you may apply via the QSL Buro.
We apologize for the hiccups in getting the QRZ page running; all QSOs logged until now will be acknowledged. There have also been issues with ClubLog - if you don'tsee your QSO there and want confirmation of your call being logged, you can email zs9madiba@gmail.com.
A Royal Cape Yacht Club commemorative flotilla of around 50 vessels sailed to Robben Island on December 15th while Madiba's burial was taking place at Qunu. Many thanks to ZS1S, ZS1FF, ZS1OK and ZS1AU for supporting the event with ZS9MADIBA M/M - it was a touching tribute that drew events together in a poignant way.

Hello, Thank you for visiting my QRZ profile eithier out of general curiosity, or our wonderful QSO. I am a Sixteen Year old operator out of St Helena Island (ZD7), and deeply enjoy running a pile up - taking calls from any DX around the world.
     If I'm stuck calling CQ, I would appreciate if put me up on the cluster! Whilst operating on 10m one day, someone told me to "shut up!" and I thought thats not good operating procedures what so ever, so I ask everyone to abide by the DX Code of Conduct - especially when in a pile up so I can get through and allow evryone to put ZD7 in their log. I rarely rag-chew but at times I do engage in longer QSO's, if you have any questions, I would be happy to try and answer them for you.
     My working conditions include a Yaesu FT 450, powered by PSW 30, and a G5RV antenna tuned by MFJ 945E. A beam antenna would be preferable, but it isn't credible with possible educational scolarship to the UK very soon. I also looked at automatic tuners (as my rig isnt fitted with one), but reviews scared that idea out of me. If you have advice on these topics, or on my operating methods send them my way (email above).
