We recently lost Joe Batty, a founding member of the club, and we are pleased to honor Joe's memory by adopting his callsign as our club call. Thanks to the Batty Family for honoring our request to use his call in his memory.
The PDXRCC's mission statement is "RadioSport for the FUN of it". We expose ham operators to radio contesting in a non intimidating and fun way at my station, where there is only one focus: teaching through example and a chance to witness AND operate a moderate station in the radio contests.
Look for us in the contests, and PROMOTE HAM RADIO in all it's many forms!
