The Call PA33KBX is activated by the members of the Contest Group Zeeuws Vlaanderen on account of the fact that

the Queen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Beatrix van Oranje-Nassau,

on 30 April will hand over the throne to her eldest son Prince Willem Alexander.

On 30 April 1980 she took over the throne of her mother Juliana.When she abdicates her throne she has been our Queen for almost 33 years.

The call PA33KBX was chosen for the following reasoning: PA obviously stands for the Netherlands,

33 stands for the years that Beatrix has been our Queen,

and KBX stands for Koningin (Queen) BeatriX.

The suffix KBX also happens to be the suffix of the Government

aircraft of the Netherlands, a Fokker 70 with the registration PH-KBX
