Thanks for taking a look and I hope we work one another in the near future if we have not already.
Planned Operations in December 2012:
I will be one of the Team members; "Buddies in the Caribbean" mini-DXpedition operating from St. Lucia, December 2 - 11, 2012.
My call sign will be J6/W5TDY.
Below is the press release of our adventure:
********************************************************************************************************************************************************
The "Buddies in the Caribbean" suitcase mini-DXpedition group which specializes in 100 watt or less low power radios and Buddipole portable antenna systems is back again to St Lucia (J6) on Dec 2– 11, 2012.
The north shore villa location was magnificent on our first visit in Feb 2010 and subsequent visits in December of the following years with a new group of operators. Our goal is to demonstrate "ultralite" DXpeditioning into magnificent "vista" locations, operating a field portable battery-only radio with backpackable, lightweight antennas and most of all "having fun" with a new group of operators who have never experienced the "other side of a pileup!"
The eight operators this Dec 2012 are: Everett/W6ABM, Robert/N7QT, Hugh/W4VAB, Bryan/WB8ISG, Scott/KA9P, Jerry/W5TDY, Budd/W3FF, and Guy/N7UN. There will be 3 villa stations in operation on 160-10m using CW, SSB, and RTTY or PSK. At the same time, several teams will be battery-only, field portable either from St Lucia beaches or scenic mountain tops and will sign call/p. The group will participate in the ARRL 10m contest (callsign: J68UN) on Dec 8-9th.
QSL via LoTW, eQSL or mail to the operator's home callsign (SASE required).

Bio:
I live along the Etowah River in Northwest Forsyth county (very close to the Cherokee and Dawson county lines), just S.E. of Ball Ground, Georgia. As a point of reference I am approximately 45-50 miles north of Atlanta, GA.
I occasionally monitor both of the WB4GQX repeaters located on top of Sawnee Mountain in Cumming, GA (147.150 Mhz and 441.900 Mhz).
QTH Antenna: 20 meter W5GI Mystery Antenna, killer on 20 meters, works well as multi-band antenna with a tuner.
I particularly enjoy portable operations. Portable Operation Antennas: BuddiPole Deluxe with 16' mast, various whip sizes, primarily Vertical configurations on 40, 20, 17, & 15 Meters. Picture above is from one of my portable ops from The San Jancito Monument in Texas - Buddipole 20 meter vertical configuration.
