I always look forward to connecting with distant friends!
It's an honor to connect with you or hear my signal in the air.
I come from the vast Inner Mongolia prairie of China.
When I was a child, I used to own a portable radio. At the time, I was very surprised why such a small square box could receive sounds from distant and different languages, which fascinated me.
In December 2020, I finally had the chance to become a Chinese amateur radio enthusiast,callsign is "BI3VJL".
(At the top of the mountain at an altitude of 2,070 meters, 130 kilometers of UV communication is realized)
I always believe that the most critical factor in amateur radio communication is people. Each OP can improve their amateur radio technology through continuous knowledge learning and experience accumulation, and finally realize the communication with the distance.
Therefore, I chose FT-818nd transceiver to become my first radio station, and subsequently added HS-1A "Black Mouse" transceiver (a very great CW QRP transceiver designed and produced by BD4RG) to promote my continuous learning and progress.
I'm looking forward to achieving my goal of using my own DIY transceiver soon
Up to now, I've been using CW mode and 5W power for my communication activities . In order to shorten the length of the call sign and facilitate the other party to copy, callsign was "BI3VJL". I occasionally use "BI3VJL / QRP" when chasing DX stations.
In order not to disturb my dorm roommates' sleep at night, I am currently learning to use the auto key for CW communication to ensure that the sound is quieter. I'm sorry if you notice that I'm making multiple mistakes in CW Communications.

Because of the blockage of the building (black line), I had to place antennas at the two stations for communication.
The first station has adjusted and upgraded the original antenna (from red to green)，Now the antennas is three long wire resonating to 7 MHz(about 75m long), extending from the seven floor(21m high) to the top of the trees(about 12m high), facing Europe,North America and Oceania.
Two antennas(yellow) were installed at the second station to connect Southeast Asia, central and southern Africa.
The feeling of using the PAC-12 GP antenna outdoors is so great!!! If the PAC-12 is not enough, then more. After all, the FT-818 has two antenna interfaces.This is especially true when indoor long wire antennas are used from sunset to 15:00 ,21:30 to 22:30 UTC, and the RF interference of the lighting is S8(LED QRN).
On November 4, 2024, the CW QRP 100 DXCC target was achieved.Come on!!!
In order to facilitate the other party to obtain timely QSL confirmation, my QSL confirmation is conducted in various ways.
1.LOTW, QRZ, EQSL, CLUBLOG and HRDLOG are generally uploaded on the second day of QSO.
2.DIRECT and BURO. My QSL card design is finally completed, if you like my card, please email me in advance so that we can confirm your mailing address more accurately. I will definitely reply to the cards I have received. Thank you very much for your patience.
