                                                              BIOGRAPHY
During 1950-1959, when communication between the cities of San Isidro del General and San Jose (100 miles) was hard , using ham radio equipment was vital, especially during natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes. And even more so when conventional communication via telephone and telegraph failed.
Enthusiasm for ham radio awoke in my father Fernando Paez (TI2FPS), who started the hobby as a method of communication for his businesses  in the gas station industry and the  transport of livestock and produce. At the young age of 9, I made my first communication in the 40mts band with a Heathkit DX 40, a short wave receptor  and an antenna dipolo held by two bamboo sticks. The first QSO took place during October 1959 with TI80CH at the 40 mts band at 9 years old.
And so was the beginning of an activity that  has given me great satisfaction and peace throughout fifty years.  I have made great friends both locally and internationally.  My inclination has been towards DX and contests.  I have even been included in the  ARRL Honor Roll  with over 350 countries, specifically in Phone (SSB).
I have been part of the TI1C contest group, formed by my friend Carlos Fonseca (TI4CF) , with whom we have participated and won several international contests. In several occasions we have been accompanied by famous operators from the United States.  Also, as TI2CC I have obtained great international positions. I have been part of expeditions to Cocos Island (TI9CF, TI9CC, TI9C) as well as in site missions during the earthquakes in Nicaragua, Mexico and El Salvador.
Having retired as an Horticulture Engineer,  specializing in International Commerce, as of 2012, I have dedicated part of my time to my favorite hobby and I hope to enjoy more time with my radio friends as well as getting back into contests and expeditions.
I am constantly renovating my equipment and antennas, because I like to be heard well around the world.

Apology
I recently began JT65.
But I had transmitted the wrong Grid Locater.
Mine is not QL16TK but QI16TK.
Please check your log and revise my locator if you had some QSO with me until May 22th 2014.
Nao P29NO

Apology 2
I have to say I lost a few QSO data because of sudden freezing of my PC.
It's not a big number, but it might be important for someone.
Please text me if you have some question about our QSO.
Nao

LotW,e-QSL`もあわせてご利用ください.
160mのリクエストが沢山ありました.
現在QRVは可能です.スケジュールが必要であれば,対応いたします.
大石
Send your QSL card to my QSL manager EA5GL.
Don't send QSL cards to PNG or JAPAN, please.
I can't send my cards because I don't have printed cards. EA5GL Pedro has all of them.
We have no QSL bureau system in this country.
LotW and e-QSL are available.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for coming to my site.
I live in Wewak in East Sepik Province located on the north coast of PNG main land.
I am a volunteer of JICA (it is the Japanese ODA). I have operated JA2VQP in Japan.
I am teaching math at Divine Word University St.Benedict's Campus.
I can operate CW, RTTY, PSK31,PSK63, JT65, SSB, AM and FM. If you need other mode, e-mail me.
And I'm able to be on 1.8MHz to 430MHz.
My antenna is so poor. I'm using a long wire or dipole. Then my signal might be pretty weak there.
The power black-outs frequently. Sometimes it recovers in a few minutes, sometimes it lasts whole day. If my signal disappears suddenly, please wait for some minutes. If my signal does not appear again, give up please.
LotW and e-QSL are available. However the Internet circumstance is so terrible that I cannot update the data regurally and I cannot do the quick resoponse to your e-mail.
I'm looking forward to contacts with you in some band and some mode.
