Me llamo Ignacio,nací en La Laguna, Isla de Tenerife (Islas Canarias), vivo actualmente en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, la capital, tengo 67 años y estoy Jubilado, mi profesión fué la Banca, Jefe de Relaciones Publicas y Director. Empezó a gustarme la radio desde muy pequeño, con un gran amigo (EA8AX) Tomás Morales, quien me enseñó muchas cosas, precisamente su equipo, Swan 350 aun lo conservo de recuerdo, ya en su ultima etapa, con él comence a transmitir de una forma no muy ortodoxa, hasta que saqué mi primer indicatico EC8ATN, y luego saqué el EA8BBR. Cuando falleció mi tío Ramón Hdez. Francés recate su indicativo, que es el que actualmente tengo EA8FM, y la llevo con orgullo, siempre me ha fascinado este entretenimiento, hablar con todo el mundo, y encontrarme en las ondas con tanta gente amable, a algunos los he conocido personalmente.
,Tengo a una esposa maravillosa, llevamos casados desde el año 1.970, tenemos tres maravillosas hijas, tres nietas preciosas y al final un nieto que a ver si sigue esta afición, espero que si, aunque ya mi hija Cristina tiene su diploma de EB.
Las herramientas de trabajo, Kenwood TS-940 S, la antena una SteppIR de tres elementos a 15 metros de altura, dipolo en V invertida para 80 metros, amplificador lineal ULVIN, modelo TREMENDUS III.- Icom 728.- Swan 350 y varios para 2m. Hay otro amplificador ULVIN, modelo TREMENDUS II, que normalmente lo uso para la banda de 40 metros. Todo este equipamiento está a disposición de todos mis amigos radioaficionados.
