Nel 1987 dopo un pò di praticandato radiantistico ho decido di fare il grande passo "la patente da radioamatore" da quel momento, non ho mai abbandonato questo hobby, se pur tra alti e bassi e trasferimenti vari.
Finalmente dopo alcuni anni di peregrinazione per lavoro, la agognata casetta fuori città dove finalmente installare le antenne, che gran fatica,dopo aver mediato con la moglie sulla mia necessità averle e la sua di non vederle, il compromesso è stato raggiunto,poco impatto parco antenne adeguato e soddisfazione alle stelle.

Ovviamente a quel punto bisognava scegliere un posto dove sistemare le radio in modo da averle a portata di mano e non creare intralci nelle normali attività della casa.
Altra mediazione con la signora, questa volta mi è toccato il garage, tutto sommato poco male, infondo non lo abbiamo mai usato per metterci le macchine, quindi quale luogo migliore.
In confidenza mi sono pure lamentato con la signora per la "location", giusto per fare un po di scena ma credetemi il "garage" si affaccia, attraverso una vetrata, sul giardino quindi, quando sono in qso con gli amici o partecipo ad un contest o sono semplicemente al cazzeggio in radio mentre faccio quattro chiacchiere con gli amici, mi godo il bel giardino con le palme e magari una bella bibita gentilmente offertami dalla signora.
