Update 19 June 2013
I am extending my stay and the op by another day and will be QRV to around 12h00Z on 20 June 2013.
Logs are being uploaded via satellite link periodically. Check ClubLog search on this page below and also in LoTW.
I'd like to give a special mention and thank you to OM Frosty, K5LBU. Better known as 'the Expert linear amp man" down in Africa, his antennas that he installs down in this part of the world make dxpeditions a whole lot easier, logistics-wise, and ensure help you guys hear us.
The grid-square is KG47AC. Apologies in advance if I QRT suddenly from time to time, but I've been experiencing power outages at the venue. There is a back-up generator I switch to, but it takes a while to manage the switchover.
Equipment during this solo op is as follows: Rig - Kenwood TS-590, Linear - Expert 2K-FA, RTTY interface - RigBlaster Advantage, Key - Begali HST Mono. The antennas are a Tennadyne T6 logP with rotator, a Cushcraft R7 and a Butternut HF2V for the low bands. Thanks to the guys who've been hanging in there for the 80M QSO's, I know you can hear me but I'm a bit deaf on the low band RX side as I'm only using the TX vertical to receive. Next time around I'll have a dedicated low ban RX antenna as well which should improve things a bit.

It will be my pleasure to send you another one.
