Hi everyone,
I live in Wewak in East Sepik Province located on the north coast of PNG main land.
I am a volunteer of JICA (it is the Japanese ODA). I have operated JA2VQP in Japan.
I am teaching math and IT at Divine Word University St.Benedict's Campus.
I am active since Feb. 15 2013.
I can operate CW RTTY SSB.
If you need other mode, e-mail me.
My antenna is so poor. I'm using a single longwire. Then my signal might be pretty weak. And somhow the noise level is relatively high. I don't know why. So the strength of signals which reach here is almost the same as noise level.

Send your QSL card to my QSL manager EA5GL.
Please don't send the card to my address in Papua New Guinea. The postage cost is very high, and mail is conveyed very slowly. Sometimes it is lost or damaged.
The power black-outs very frequently. I am really sorry if my signal disappears suddenly.
And the Internet circumstance is so terrible that I cannot update the data regurally.

Hello to you!
I was born on February 7th in1983 at Leimen, Germany. I joined amateur radio at the age of 15 as DG3JAF. In 1999 I turned to DL7JAN. Since this time my life turned around completely-hi. Main activity is DXing,Contesting and hunting for awards.
You can meet me from 160-6m in CW,SSB,RTTY and PSK31!
In 2004 I started my first DXpedition together with Andy, DL3GA to the Maldives. My call there was8Q7JF.Since this time I want more :) In 2006 I operated as a guest operator under DQ2006A andDR06SOCCER (mainly CW) for the World Football Championship Award. In 2006 my next DXpeditions followed.
In August 2006 I was on air as DA2006LH from Fehmarn Island with a DL-team for the International Lighthouse Weekend (19th/20th August 2006) and two weeks later it goes on from the Kingdom of Lesotho as 7P8JF together with Mathias,DJ2HD (7P8DJ) and Wolfgang,DH3WO (7P8WO). Time there was great !!!
July 2008 I was active as HB0/DL7JAN from Triesenberg, Principality of Liechtenstein.
In February 2009 it goes on with a DXpedition trip to the Seychelles - Praslin Island (AF024). Call there wasS79JF! The Seychelles are one of the greates places down on earth!
In late August 2009 I ran my next DXpedition as CT8/DL7JAN together with Egon,DL2IX as CT8/DL2IX from Faial Island (EU175) Azores. We had a nice time there for 10 days of operation.
February 2010 my second solo DXpedition gonna started for a 10 day trip to Negara Brunei Darussalam asV88/DL7JAN. It was my first time to be on air from the pacific area.
So in February 2011 it goes on with my 3rd solo DXpedition. This time I decided to go to the island of Dominica where I had a fine stay for 11 days. It was my first time to operate from the British West Indies. 6.650 QSO's were made as J79AN.
The DXpedition 2012 is over now! In February we were active from the island of Niue as ZK2C.
A german team of 9 operators were able to reach more than 48.000 QSO's in two weeks of a non-stop operation.
It was such a nice experience and we had a lot of fun togehter in the south pacific area.
Now I am very busy with the batch of qsl requests as manager of ZK2C.

I am QSL-Manager for 7P8JF,7P8DJ,7P8WO,8Q7JF,CT8/DL7JAN,HB0/DL7JAN,J79AN,S79JF,V88/DL7JAN and ZK2C
