2013 Activity will start out as of 20 April 2013 at Kocacimen Hill. TA1ED-TA1HZ-TA1PB and the group will be on the air.
2012 Activity began on 20 April eveningas TA2RX, TA1PB, TA1ED arrived in Canakkale and moved to Kocacimen Hill. Later on Saturday TA1FR, TA1HZ, TA3FB, TB2CUD came over to the 308m high Hilltop, overlooking the battefields. TA1AES and TB1BTJ later joined the group for HF and UHF repeater setups. Another station was set in the main scout camp near Kocadere by TA5JD and friends. This year with favorable weather conditions the team operated from the hilltop and with TA1EF-TA1GO-TA3HM also helping out, had slightly more than 2000 QSOs down the log. We thank all the stations working us on the air for their patience and understanding and hope to meet you once more next year.
On Wednesday April 20, 2011, the first part of the team arrived on Kocacimen Hill to set up the stations. The activity ended with TA1PB and TA3AX signing off on Monday April 25. The team consisted of TA1AEO-TA1ED-TA1FR-TA1HZ-TA1PB-TA2RX-TB2CUD-TB2MYE-TA3AX-TA3FB-TA7BCon HF and TA2DJ&TA2RA supporting. The two camps, one located on Kocacimen Hill and the other at Kabatepe Scout Camp, were on the air simultenously on five bands and three bands which looks like a first for TA . CW-SSB and PSK31 activity were carried out despite heavy winds and rough weather conditions. You can check at www.tcswat.org and http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=36545810205&v=photosas we upload our photos. Thank you all for meeting us up on the air.

Detailed info is at the website. Hope to hear you on the air.
Since the 57th Regiment fell while in combat with the ANZAC troops, any contacts with VK / ZL will be much more appreciated. Both sides lost many lives in this nonsense war started by other countries, and any contacts between TA/TC and VK/ZL on this special day will be a show of friendship against the war!
