On April 18, 2013 we will celebrate the World Amateur Radio Day on the 88th Anniversary of the founding of the International Amateur Radio Union, IARU.
This year´s theme for the World Amateur Radio Day is “Amateur Radio: Entering Its Second Century of Disaster Communications”
For this reason Grupo DXXE will activate the special callsign 4A8DMR from 18 to21 April 2013 on all bands from 6 meters to 160 and of course amateur radio satellites from different Grid Locators throughout Mexico.
QSOs with this station are valid for the IARU Region 2 award, the various FMRE awards and the DXXE awardwww.dxxe.org and will be upload periodically to CLUBLOG.

El 18 de abril de 2013 se celebra el Día Mundial del Radioaficionado en el 88 aniversario de la fundación de la International Amateur Radio Union, IARU.
El tema de este año para el Día Mundial del Radioaficionado es “Radioafición: Iniciando su segundo siglo de comunicaciones durante desastres”
Por tal motivo el GRUPO DXXE activará del 18 al 21 de Abril de 2013 el indicativo especial 4A8DMR en todas las bandas de 6 metros a 160 metros y, por supuesto, satélites de radioaficionado desde distintos Grid Locators del país.

DX Code of Conduct
I will listen, and listen, and then listen again before calling.
I will only call if I can copy the DX station properly.
I will not trust the cluster and will be sure of the DX station's call sign before calling.
I will not interfere with the DX station nor anyone calling and will never tune up on the DX frequency or in the QSX slot.
I will wait for the DX station to end a contact before I call.
I will always send my full call sign.
I will call and then listen for a reasonable interval. I will not call continuously.
I will not transmit when the DX operator calls another call sign, not mine.
I will not transmit when the DX operator queries a call sign not like mine.
I will not transmitwhen the DX station calls other geographic areas than mine.
When the DX operator calls me, I will not repeat my call sign unless I think he has copied it incorrectly.
I will be thankful if and when I do make a contact.
I will respect my fellow hams and conduct myself so as to earn their respect.
