1. This award is issued by Croatian Amateur Radio Association (HRS) to commemorate 20 years of 9A prefix on the air.
2. Award is issued to all licensed amateur radio operators and SWL.
3. Award requirements: 10 different special 9A prefix (9A200-9A209) on any band or mode in period from January 1st to December 31st 2012.
4. Special calls e.g. 9A20HRS & 9A20HQ can replace any missing prefix and can be used maximum 2 times.
5. Log extract with evidence of payment should be sent no later than December 31st 2013.
6. Award fee is 10 € or 15 USD.

Sardinia ( /sɑrˈdɪniə/, Italian: Sardegna [sarˈdeɲɲa], Sardinian: Sardigna [sarˈdinja]) is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea (after Sicily and before Cyprus) and an autonomous region ofItaly. The nearest land masses are (clockwise from north) the island of Corsica, the Italian Peninsula,Sicily, Tunisia and the Balearic Islands.

Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, with an area of 23,821 km². It is situated between 38° 51' and 41° 15' latitude north and 8° 8' and 9° 50' east longitude. To the west of Sardinia is the Sea of Sardinia, a unit of the Mediterranean Sea; to Sardinia's east is the Tyrrhenian Sea, which is also an element of the Mediterranean Sea.^[5]

The coasts of Sardinia (1,849 km long) are generally high and rocky, with long, relatively straight stretches of coastline, many outstanding headlands, a few wide, deep bays, rias, many inlets and with various smaller islands off the coast.

The island has an ancient geoformation and, unlike Sicily and the mainland of Italy, is not earthquake-prone. Its rocks date from the Palaeozoic Era (up to 500 million years old). Due to long erosion processes the island's highlands, formed of granite, schist, trachyte, basalt (called "jaras" or "gollei"), sandstone and dolomite limestone (called tonneri or "heels"), average at between 300 to 1,000 metres. The highest peak is Punta La Marmora(1,834 m), part of the Gennargentu Ranges in the centre of the island. Other mountain chains are Monte Limbara(1,362 m) in the northeast, the Chain of Marghine and Goceano (1,259 m) running crosswise for 40 km (25 mi) towards the north, the Monte Albo (1057 metres), the Sette Fratelli Range in the southeast, and the Sulcis Mountains and the Monte Linas (1236 metres). The island's ranges and plateaux are separated by wide alluvial valleys and flatlands, the main ones being the Campidano in the southwest between Oristano and Cagliari and the Nurra in the northwest.

Sardinia has few major rivers, the largest being the Tirso, 151 km (94 mi) long, which flows into the Sea of Sardinia, the Coghinas (115 km) and the Flumendosa (127 km). There are 54 artificial lakes and dams which supply water and electricity. The main ones are Lake Omodeo and Lake Coghinas. The only natural freshwater lake is Lago di Baratz. A number of large, shallow, salt-water lagoons and pools are located along the 1,850 km (1,150 mi) of the coastline.

The island has a typical Mediterranean climate. During the year there are approximately 135 days of sunshine, with a major concentration of rainfall in the winter and autumn, some heavy showers in the spring and snowfalls in the highlands. The average temperature is between 11 to 17 °C (52 to 63 °F).^[6] The Mistralfrom the northwest is the dominant wind on and off throughout the year, though it is most prevalent in winter and spring. It can blow quite strongly, but it is usually dry and cool and makes for a sailor's paradise.

The TK4Z opération took place from the Domaine St. Pierre, a hotel located in the village of Cargèse. Although the island of Corsica is a french continental département, it counts as a separate country for DXCC purposes and for most contest opérations. The island is located south of mainland France and features rugged mountains accented by coastal settlements. The history of Corsica is an island became French in 1769 and which was often subject to strategic issues and external influences while retaining a strong particularism, due to its relative isolation.

Located in the heart of the Western Mediterranean - 200 kilometres from Nice, 10 km of Sardinia, 50 kilometres from the island of Elba (Tuscany), 80 kilometres from the Tuscan Coast, the island has occupied a strategic position in the Mediterranean geopolitical area. Object of greed of the different powers of Mediterranean, long remained in the areas of italo-toscane and Carthaginian influence, the Corsican language being the more lively illustration. True "mountain in the sea" with a central North-South Ridge along its entire length, result of the collision by rotation of the plate (originally nestled in the Gulf of Lion) Corso-Sardinian and Italian plaque, the Interior of the island of Corsica has been a place of constant refuge for the population of the island which has developed and maintained a culture very old.

Its specificity and originality are the product of a complex history. With its 8 778 km², it is the fourth island of the Mediterranean, behind Sicily, Sardinia and Cyprus.

Comme appareil radio a la maison, Yeasu FT-2000 avec les filtres cw, icom 706MK2G/m , signaLink, et pour les appareils portables un Elecraft KX1 que je ne connais pas encore !! ( en anglais sont les instructions !!) un Elecraft K1 ( encore en anglais )_ et un yeasu ft-817 avec encore les filtres car c'est vraiment commode surtout avec ce rig si jamais vous avez du temps pour me faire comprendre le KX1 contacter moi :) et un lat top pour homologuer les concours que je fais( j'aimerais bien en faire plus mais manque de temps ! ) et priorité !!
