Νame here is John P.Theofilopoulos, SV3AQR, 10-x # 64628, born in 1969 in town of Amalias, Greece. Amateur activities began when I was first licenced (a dream since I was a child !) in 1988 at the age of 18.
I chase countries, prefixes, QSL's and photos of other hams. My logbook contains more than 150000 QSOs (mostly on paper) since my first CQ in 1988.

I have been very active in contests, as a matter of fact, during the CQ WW contest’91, I worked barefoot 125 countries (single band DXCC in 48hr contest period without cluster help!) fact that gave me the 4th World place single band low power , 1st place in Europe.
In 1993 I manage to use (upon request) a local medium waves (Radio Station of Amalias, A.M.1584KHz) 54m.top loaded tower, as TX antenna on 160m!

Another activity is C.W. propagation beacons and runs one, since 1991 on 10m, (28.182,5MHz) on a vertical antenna with the power of 4 watts, and a second one, since 1998 on 2m (144.488,0MHz) with 5 watts power on a big wheel, both running (A1A), 24 hours a day from KM07QS, 80m.A.S.L.I am also QRV on 2m SSB looking for Tropo-Sporadic-E propagation QSO's(144.300 +- QRM) with 20 DXCC countries already confirmed!
