9J3A is a Zambian Call issued to Niko, S53A. This is his 6th acctivation from Zambia. Dates are: 18. - 26. November 2013, mostly in the CQWW CW DX Contest, but some after and prior to CQWW Contest operation is also possible. Niko may try-out also9J3A/m on his way from Lusaka to Kafue-River National Park. From mobile, just for fun, he will runs only QRP 5 Watts into Whip antenna. Can you get him into your log? In the contest and other days from Kafue National Park he will be running 100w into SpiderBeam and some verticals this time.
Last year (2012) he takes first place CQ-WW-CW SO-10m Low Power World Category. Congratulations!

This is the operation pozition from where 9J3A operates. Yes, it's under tent.

When you operate in such FD-way, esspecially if you are near Equator, havy rain happens:

With rain wind cames too. Sometimes your suport for antenna wasn't strong enough. Next day sun always comes and that's such day. The day after stormy night. The day for taking down SpiderBeam.

You can find all kind of animals wants to help you. Usually they are friendly, but .

You can easily find 2nd op too, just few meters away. Yes, she's that close! Normaly they don't eat humas.

Africa is HOT! Under tent is even hoter. SDR Flex-1500 needs any additional cooling sistem you can find out there in bush. You won't belive but this could be a very efective way to cool down radio. Now Pile-ups can continue.

Another nice photo for the end:

We'd like to thanks to suport this DXpedition.

Now few words from the QSL Manager:
QSL cards goes to S57S (not S53A, not S57A)
Aleksander Zagar, Golisce 132, SI-1281 SLOVENIA
I will send QSL Cards also via Buro, but on the request only! Direct, is the best way if you are in the hurry! QSL buros all over the globe are slower and slower. If you can wait up to 3 years or more is not surprise anymore! If you will send direct, please use Self-adhesive (Pull&seal type) envelope (if you can find some) would be nice.If you don't have propper letter, send me label with your addres and that's fine too.
About the money for Direct mail: I'd like to see at least 2$ or 1 IRC. You are always welcome to donate more, but if you can't that's fine.

9J3A is now also OK via LoTW systemE-qsl not yet.

GL with 9J3A, probbably the most dangereous DXpedition this year! (Again)
