I have been licensed since 1958 with the original call of KN5TSR. I have always enjoyed chasing DX and contesting. Through the years I have participated in contests at N5AU, W5SZ, K5RC, and W5KFT. More recently a group of local DXers and contesters from Mexico and the US, including me, built and operated 6D2X from approximately 1990 to 2000.

In 2001 I retired from my job as principal at a large area high school and moved to the country. I finally have a location that allows me to have a larger tower and get away from the noise in town. I installed a 120 foot tower with a Force 12 C3E and Cushcraft 2 element 40 at the top. I have a full sized sloper on 80 and inverted vee on 160. My rig is a FT2000 and Alpha 87A amp.

I strongly support the Logbook of the World and have all of my QSOs since 1978 uploaded. I respond to ALL QSLs, usually within the month. If you want my card quickly, send a SASE, or greenstamp with your request. Otherwise, I will return your card through the bureau.
