The 2014 World Ice Hockey Championship will be held on 9-25 May 2014 in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.
The Belarussian Federation of Radio amateurs and Radio sportsmen presents two awards for Radio Amateurs:
"Great hockey in Minsk" AWARD
(an electronic diploma will be issued free of charge)
At the time of the 78th Ice Hockey World Championship
from the 9th till 25th of May 2014 stations must earn 78 points to qualify for a diploma.
Contacts with special event stations EV2014WHC, EV2014ICE will earn 20 points for each contact.
Stations in Minsk with prefixes EV1, EU1, EW1 will get 5 points for each contact.
Contacts with other Belarus stations with prefixes EV, EU, EW will earn 1 point for each QSO.
At least one QSO with a special event station is required.
Repeated contacts with these stations are allowed on different bands and in different modes.
Application for the certificate in the form of an extract from the LOG should be sent by e-mail to: EV2014WHC@TUT.BY
Certification will be issued for stations that qualify for the diploma from June 1st, 2014.
"Famous Five" AWARD
(an electronic diploma will be issued free of charge)
At the time of the 78th Ice Hockey World Championship
from the 9th till 25th of May 2014 stations must make 5 QSOs with each special event
station - EV2014WHC, EV2014ICE.
Repeated contacts with these stations are allowed on different bands and in different modes.
Application for the certificate in the form of extracts from the LOG should be sent by e-mail to: EV2014WHC@TUT.BY
Certification will be issued for stations that qualify for the diploma from June 1st, 2014.
