Who and what is FOC?
Founded in May 1938, and with its roots, history and management in the UK, the First Class CW Operators' Club (FOC) promotes good CW (Morse code) operating, activity, friendship and socialising via its worldwide membership of approximately 500. Members are active on all HF bands and the character of the club is best expressed in its motto:
"A man should keep his friendship in constant repair" - Samuel Johnson (1755).
FOC MEMBERS AIM TO….
  • Foster and encourage a high standard of CW operating ability and behaviour on the amateur bands.
  • Observe the licence conditions and principles of band planning.
  • Be considerate to other amateurs at all times.

SPECIAL EVENT STATION J47X (on air to Old City Festival of Xanthi 2013)

J47X special event station from "Xanthi Carnival Festival 2012"



The SV7BVM radio station celebrates the annual "Xanthi Carnival Festival 2012" and invites all the radio friends around the world to get in touch with the special event station J47X!
The special event station from Xanthi- Greece will be working using the following modes: SSB, CW, and all digital mods and, will be operational during the period of time between 17 feb – 27 feb 2012.
All of the stations that establish a QSO with J47X will receive via Bureau, LoTW or direct if want a beautiful QSL card. In order to take a virtual internet tour of "Xanthi Carnival Festival" you can visit this link www.carnival-of-xanthi.gr which is also available in english language.
