DXing
I am licensed since 1989 and was into VHF and UHF DXing for about ten years. I like all modes but prefer being a CW op. After that period I started chasing DXCC's on HF. Still need KH3 and VK0/H for #1 Honor Roll. DXCC score (ex deleted):

Contesting
I enjoy contesting as a single operator but also join multi-multi operations. It's great to meet other contesters and DXers from around the globe. For the CQWPX SSB contest in March 2015 I will be in Curacao. I will also try to be active before and after the contest.
QSLing
I like to receive and send QSL cards via buro, direct or LOTW. However:
  • Please use LOTW unless you like to have my card for your collection.
  • If you need my card you can use the buro system. I forward mine via the Dutch QSL Buro at least 4x per year.
  • Direct mail is no problem and cards will be answered as soon as possible. Please include at least 2$ but no IRC's.  
  • I will QSL only once per single band or mode. So, do not send me your 5th card for our 10m/cw QSO as I will only answer the first one received.

Very high background noise from Kathmandu - S9 on 40m
Electric power is down for most of the day, so we have to use gasoline generator, do not be surprised when we suddenly stop transmitting, that means that we have to start the generator or feed it with new fuel :).
