I love to work DX and provide YB land for the needy, I formerly manage the first OC270 IOTA operation as qsl manager. My favorite mode is CW but will love a chat on SSB. Sometimes I also do some SSTV, PSK31 and RTTY.
Confirming QSOs:
It has been sometime now since I recieved my last QSL from the bureau, and I never use my bureau outgoing service. Before in the good old days I usually reply bureau cards directly to the DX bureau address. However sending QSL cards overseas has it's problem now.
Recently our local Post Office no longger accept ordinary overseas mail. All overseas mail are now registered which is prohibitively expensive.
Therefore I'm using eQSL and LOTW as the solution since e-qsl has been accepted by CQ and DARC for their awards, and LOTW is the standard for DXCC. I will limitedly QSL the traditional way but please be reminded that it will be my last resort and if you need one, please be generous with your IRCs, green stamps are OK with your own risk (I have bad experience with stolen green stamps, since there were few mails coming in, they have plenty of time to open suspected mails) and keep in mind that the green stamps value (small change) are very low here (at least in my area). Please be patient for the reply. I normally asked friends who goes abroad to post my foreign mails, but it is not everyday business.
For the same reason the valid IRCs that you send will be of no use for me locally, however it will be recycle to confirm some of my needed QSO (Therefore make sure that the IRC's are valid and proper stamped at the right place) and I no longer have a P.O. Box because renting one is also very expensive (the cost has gone skyrocketing). I also upload my log to the Clublog but unfortunately I don't have a paypal account therefore sorry no OQRS.
However despite of all the mentioned problems please do QSL electronically via LOTW or E-QSL, now all my recorded QSOs has been posted there, but I still find that many of my QSOs are not confirmed yet even though I have the paper cards What a shame.
