Bill Verebely W4WV will be back in Guantanamo Bay as KG4WV, along with Al Danis W6HGF as KG4HF.

They will fly in to GTMO of Friday October 11th and will fly out on Friday October 25th.

They will be on all bands, 160m through 6m using ssb, rtty, psk, and some cw.

They will be on the air for JOTA to put the local Boy Scouts on the radio.

They will complete the antenna repairs from damage by hurricane Sandy and a few minor repair items to the shack.

BIOGRAPHIE

1980 comment je suis devenu radioamateur.

Tout a commencé depuis la fin de l’obtention de mon CAP cuisine ou j’ai eut l’occasion de découvrir le CB, en effet à l'obtention de mon attestation de ma premier autorisation pour l utilisation de la CB sur la bande 11m et mon premier émetteur CB (ssb-blu) j’ai voulu aller plus loin.

Ce fût le point de départ de la transmision et de contacter d’autre pays, chercher à apporter un petit plus a la station. Quand j’ai fut la connaissance d’un radioamateur qui lui-même était un grand du 11m et ma fait comprend qu’il existe en matière de radio une étage de plus élever plus grand que le monde des cibistes.

Quelque année plus tard je ne suis trouver président d’une association CB F.W.I de la Guadeloupe, puis peut année écouler je décide de passe ma licence radioamateur sur la France que j’ai donc obtenu FA1UEK.

C'est grâce à mon changement de résidence pour aller dans le nord en Picardie à Amiens que j’ai eut comme amis dans radioamateurs de l’ancien temps ceux qui on obtenu leur licence après la réalisation de leur propre émetteur (F1DN).

Depuis je suis sur la Guadeloupe avec l’indicatif présent assez actif sur le qth pour faire bougé la mentalité radioamateurs, président du Radio Club ACRA FG5KC depuis pas mal année avec comme objectif de voir un groupement de radioamateurs sérieux et qui veux transmettre leur savoir au enfants de l’île et mettre un vrais et grand plan d’urgent en place pour l’archipel.
