Originally licensed in 1970 as WN9FAJ, then WB9FAJ in 1972, I acquired N7FUL in 1983. I operate CW the majority of the time.

For 40/20/15/10 meter coverage, the antennas are wire beam Array's consisting of phased inverted wire verticals for each band . The Array's are suspended from a height of 45 feet.  I had originally installed the Array's as a cost effective temporary antenna until completing construction of three W8JK wire end-fire arrays triangulated for full horizon coverage. However, considering the low cost and ease of construction, the Array's performance have been very good and I will continue to maintain their installation.

The Array is aligned East to West (Y axis) resulting in lobes at 40, 140, 220 and 320 degrees relative to my location.
As modeled, the Array achieves greater gain at an acceptably low take off angle and effective high angle noise cancellation compared against a dipole installed at the same height.
The installation site is an open field on one of the higher ridge lines in the area. The photograph below is what the antenna views looking North. The photograph on my qsl card, above, is the antenna view looking South. The Array is suspended from one center and two end supports
