Ceuta (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈθeuta]) (Arabicسبت‎) is an 18.5-square-kilometre (7.1 sq mi) autonomous city of Spain and anexclave located on the north coast of Africa and has a western border with Morocco. Separated from the Iberian peninsula by the Strait of Gibraltar, Ceuta lies on the border of theMediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Ceuta was deemed a part of Cadiz province prior to 14 March 1995, when the city'sStatute of Autonomy was passed.
Ceuta (like Melilla) was a free port before Spain joined theEuropean Union. As of 2011, it has a population of 78,674.[2] Its population consists of ChristiansMuslims (chiefly Moroccan Arabic speakers), and small minorities of Jews and Hindus. Spanish is the official language.
Morocco had previously called for negotiations on the future of Ceuta, Melilla and a number of Mediterranean islands and enclaves that border it. The majority of the city's population are ethnic Spanish who are opposed to the idea of being ruled by Morocco.[3] A poll conducted by Instituto Opina found that 87.9% of people from mainland Spain consider the two cities to be Spanish.[4]

Guam (Listeni/ˈɡwɑːm/ChamorroGuåhån) is an organized, unincorporated territory of the United States located in the western Pacific Ocean. It is one of five U.S. territories with an established civilian government.[3][4] Guam is listed as one of sixteen Non-Self-Governing Territories by the Special Committee on Decolonization of the United Nations.[5] The island's capital is Hagåtña (formerly Agaña). Guam is the largest and southernmost of the Mariana Islands.
The Chamorros, Guam's indigenous people, first populated the island approximately 4,000 years ago.[6] The island has a long history of European colonialism, beginning with its discovery by Ferdinand Magellan during a Spanish expedition on March 6, 1521. The first colony was established in 1668 by Spain with the arrival of settlers includingPadre San Vitores, a Catholic missionary. For more than two centuries Guam was an important stopover for the Spanish Manila Galleons that crossed the Pacific annually. The island was controlled by Spain until 1898, when it was surrendered to the United States during the Spanish-American War and later formally ceded as part of theTreaty of Paris.
As the largest island in Micronesia and the only U.S.-held island in the region before WW II, Guam was captured by the Japanese on December 8, 1941, just hours after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and was occupied for two and a half years.
During the occupation, the people of Guam were subjected to acts that included torture, beheadings and rape,[7][8]and were forced to adopt the Japanese culture.[9] Guam was subject to fierce fighting when U.S. troops recaptured the island on July 21, 1944, a date commemorated every year as Liberation Day.[10]
Today, Guam's economy is supported by its principal industry, tourism, which is composed primarily of visitors from Japan. Guam's second largest source of income is the United States military.[11]

During the 21stGrand Finale our station will be QRV on January 2013 from the 2nd till the 15th.

Special Event Station of Polish Scouts supporting The XIX and XX Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity's. We cooperate with GOCCDivision from „Superschool” (public primary school) in Warsaw; QRV from 2 to 14 January 2011, and from 2 to 15 January 2012.
The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation was created in order to protect the lives of ill people, especially children. The main goals of the Foundation are improving and supporting health care as well as promoting preventive treatment. During the 19 years of operation and organization of 20 Grand Finales, the Foundation has raised nearly 100 000 000 USD. This money has bought over 20 000 medical devices for over 500 pediatric units. Statistically, since the beginning of the GOCC existence 4 devices have been delivered to children wards every day. This amazing success was possible thanks to the involvement of small communities and the support of 120 000 volunteers who gather together every year to organize hundreds of fundraising events, charitable concerts and auctions. Their hard work translates into sophisticated medical equipment becoming easily accessible to all children treated in public health care institutions and an improved quality of life for thousands of Polish families.
You also may support the GOCC Foundation by donation
